Emily Adamson ’07 received her DVM from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine in January of 2013 and will begin an internship at VCA San Francisco Veterinary Specialists in June.

Armonde Baghdanian ’07 completed his MD at Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia in 2012 and is currently completing a year of Internal Medicine at Albert Einstein Hospital in Philadelphia. He has been admitted to Boston University for Diagnostic Radiology, Class of 2017.

Lynette Bui ’01 attended medical school in Chicago and completed a Family Medicine residency at Kaiser Fontana. She is currently in her fourth year on faculty at the UC Irvine School of Medicine and the Family Medicine Residency.
Won-Tak Choi ’99
Won-Tak Choi ’99 is currently a resident physician for the Department of Pathology at the University of Washington in Seattle. Dr. Choi completed an MD/PhD at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2009 and completed a post-doctoral research fellowship with The Scripps Research Institute in La Jolla, California in 2011.

Martin Donohoe ’84, MD ’90
Martin Donohoe ’84, MD ’90 has recently published a reader for Jossey-Bass entitled Public Health and Social Justice. He also maintains the website Public Health & Social Justice, where his numerous radio and TV appearances have been documented. Dr. Donohoe currently serves as a senior physician for Kaiser Sunnyside Medical Center and Adjunct Associate Professor for the Portland State University School of Community Health.
Richard R. Cicinelli ’68, MD ’72
Richard Cicinelli ’68 graduated as a Zoology major from UCLA and completed his medical studies here in 1972. He went on to earn a specialization in psychiatry at UCSF in 1976, and is currently in private practice in Redwood City, California, where he specializes in substance abuse, concurrent disorders, and recovery. Dr. Cicinelli fondly remembers being a student in the very first ecology class offered at UCLA.
Mark Leffert ’65
Mark Leffert ’65 has published The Therapeutic Situation in the 21st Century (May 2013). His previous book, Contemporary Psychoanalytic Foundations: Postmodernism, Complexity, and Neuroscience, was published in 2010. Dr. Leffert is currently a practicing psychoanalyst in Santa Barbara, California, as well as a professional sculptor and photographer.

He was on a Federal grant (NIH MA/PhD Bridge to the Future). He is now returning to the medical side, taking a revolutionary position with the UCLA Health System as a “Patient Champion.”

From The Armenian Reporter, December 16th, 2011: Marina Khubesrian ’89, MD ’92 took the oath of office as a new City Council member at South Pasadena’s City Council meeting on December 7th, 2011. She has served as the medical director of the Glendale Adventist Alcohol and Drug Services (GAADS) and is the associate director of the Family Medicine Residency Program. Her private practice is now in Montrose where she specializes in Family Medicine.

Amber Arlington ’85 MD, MPH, is currently a Radiation Oncologist doing locum tenens assignments. She is living in Oregon and is licensed to practice medicine in California, Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Texas, and Guam. She is married to Jon Lutz (BA ’79 UCLA, MD) and has two children, ages 23 (Chris) and 13 (Ashley).
